Hi, We’re Peakside Media.

Zak & Jess

We moved to Colorado Springs in 2018 so Jess could follow her professional running career by training at altitude. She is a 3x Olympic Trials qualifier.

Zak is a 20 year professional photographer and licensed drone pilot. He’s shot for events and commissioned work for large companies all over the country, and privately contracted for weddings and other projects around the globe.

We both went to Parkside University, part of the UW system in Wisconsin. Moving to Colorado, we traded our views of Lake Michigan for Pikes Peak and “Peakside” seemed to fit well.

Hank and his sister Emi our Rhodesian ridgebacks. They’re quite the characters, it’s actually really nice they let us live in their house... They like camping when it’s warm enough, and hiking if it’s not too windy. Hank is always ready to run with Jess but Emi would rather go her own pace on a trail.

Michael Escobar

Michael and his family moved to Colorado in 2023 - ane he’s been pushing the team to up our game ever since. Michael is an absolutely phenomenal Wedding, Event, and photographer of people in general. He’s Licensed Part 107 Drone Pilot as well as a husband and father to two beautiful (and funny) kiddo’s.

Micah Sahhar

Micah has been behind the scenes editing as well as taking every opportunity to learn in the field for over a year. He started as an intern and now… now we’re just not sure how we would function without him! He’s also arguably thee best drone pilot in the company, and one of thee most reliable photographers we’ve ever had the privilege to work with.

David Calhoun

David heads up our North Carolina branch and we couldn’t be happier to have such a talented photographer and solid rock-of-a-guy on the team. David has an extraordinary eye for detail which translates to pure magic on his projects. That however pales in comparison to his dedication to his clients and his customer service. You’ll see.

Christian Martinez-Vigil

Christian is there to help with all of our office functions including delivery and invoicing. She also catches every little detail we miss and has a heck of an eye for family photos as well.
